We can assist you and your family members in applying for Entry Clearance. Entry clearance is the procedure used by Entry Clearance Officers at British missions overseas to check before a person arrives in the UK, if that person qualifies under the Immigration Rules for entry to the UK.

The authority to admit someone to the UK ultimately rests with the Immigration Officer (IO) at the port of entry. The application process is complex and require a number of supporting documents.

Applicants must submit biometric information as part of their application and pay a fee depending on the entry clearance sought. The application is made online and in addition to the fee there is also the immigration health surcharge which must also be paid at the time of application.

Legal advice at this stage can frequently avoid rejection of an application by the Entry Clearance Officer and the subsequent difficulties that applicants face should they need to lodge an appeal.
