Conveyancing in the Coronavirus Crisis

Ruth Flinn

06 May 2020

The situation that we currently find ourselves in with the Covid-19 lockdown means most of us are spending more time at home with family. This can mean we finally have a chance to consider some of the more momentous decisions, such as asking ourselves if we are happy with where we live, and if not, can we move?

Estate agents are finding creative ways to value and arrange viewings of property while the lockdown restrictions are in place. Perhaps you viewed a property before the coronavirus and wonder if it is still on the market? The market has slowed but has not stopped, and sales and purchases are still being agreed.

At Francis Hanna & Co Solicitors, our Property Department remains open with our solicitors working remotely. We can provide you with a quotation for our conveyancing services for either a sale or a purchase. There is a lot that can be done even in the current situation, and we are able to progress matters for you. We would aim to have your transaction advanced for you as much as we can, so that you may complete your sale or purchase as quickly as possible once social distancing restrictions have been lifted.
