Linda Johnston
My dealings with Linda have been exemplary and hassle free despite the often complicated nature of the matters arising. I would have no hesitation and indeed have recommended her to friends and family.
Linda joined the property law department of the practice in 1983, and became the partner responsible for our Private Client and Commercial departments in 1988. She has many years of experience acting for banks and financial institutions in relation to personal finance matters, in both lending and recovery. Heading our Private Client department she specialises in Chancery litigation, estate planning, long term care issues and disputed wills.

Linda was the first NI member of Solicitors for the Elderly, a network of specialist and passionate lawyers focusing on the increasing needs of our ever ageing population.

She is also a member of STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners).

In 2017, Linda played a key role in the establishment of an Elder Client Working Group of Solicitors within the Law Society of NI, a forum for discussion for solicitors who are interested in the work of elderly and vulnerable clients.

Linda holds the internationally recognised CEDR accreditation as a certified Mediator.

Linda has served as a Trustee/ Director of a number of registered charities in the health, social care and environmental sectors.

She is also a frequent speaker to parent and carer groups on the subject of future planning to protect the interests of vulnerable and disabled family and friends.
